About CVEN StaffThe School has over thirty-five full-time academic staff and almost seventy other research, professional, technical and administrative staff, thus, it is the largest School of its type in Australia. School staff provide their expertise, usually on an honorary basis, to international, national and local committees of various technical associations, such as the Institution of Engineers Australia, specialised societies and conferences, editorial boards of international and national journals, and Standards Australia Committees. Staff are encouraged to undertake these activities. Staff of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering have, over many years, also made contributions to the profession by engaging in higher level consultancies for international organisations, federal, state and local governments, private sector firms and community groups. | | | |
